Poem tied to my Ohio based works.
She danced through the streets, magical, with no care,
living through the sounds of music, unfiltered,
unaltered by old age views — just true.
Her beauty was in her touch,
her heart-stopping gaze you couldn't avoid.
The touch was so gentle, so soft,
it raised your hairs, your skin to goosebumps,
like whispers in the ear.
Her touch brought me to her body —
the way we held each other tight,
the way we kissed, passionate,
skin on skin,
the way we fucked all night…
soaked in whiskey sweat,
cigarette smoke lust,
we made the night of a lifetime.
It was beautiful.
The love we had for each other in that moment
was a masterpiece of art
no one can replicate.
The only one…
from Ohio.
