Fracture & Form — New Release

Tranquillamente

A Solo Piano Album — 2025

There’s an Italian musical term — tranquillamente — that means to play with calm, with stillness, with deliberate quietude. Not silence, exactly. More like the quality of air before a storm decides what it wants to be.

That word became the compass for this record.

“These aren’t performance pieces. They’re recordings of presence — the kind you can only make alone, at an instrument, without an audience.”

Recorded entirely at the Fracture & Form home studio, Tranquillamente is an unaccompanied piano album built from original compositions that live somewhere between classical structure and confessional songwriting. There are no lyrics. There doesn’t need to be. The phrasing carries everything the words would only flatten.

The album centers on the Opus 1 Tranquillamente “Tranquillamente” — a piece that opens with measured restraint before widening into something larger than its source. It’s a good entry point if you’ve never heard this project before. Let it run.

This project follows the Piano Opus EP on Apple Music and continues the mission that’s always driven Fracture & Form: treat every medium — music, poetry, visual art — as part of one continuous conversation. Tranquillamente is one chapter of that conversation, the quietest one.
