Track 1 Darling

Verse 1
And I still stare out my window
 Almost every single night
And I still dream of our memories
As the years pass me by

Bridge
 I wish I could change
 The last five years
 Undo my mistakes
 Make time disappear

Chorus
 Darling, please remember
 That I once loved you
 Darling, please remember
 All we’ve been through

Verse 2
I no longer trust my mind
 It’s almost given up
 Everyone has left me
But your picture still hangs on my walls

Bridge 2 (repeat)
And I wish I could change
 The last five years
 Undo my mistakes
 Make time disappear

Chorus (repeat)
 Darling, please remember
 That I once loved you
 Darling, please remember
 All we’ve been through

Track 2 — Fading Photographs

(Verse 1

I found your picture in the drawer
Edges torn, the colors fade
I still remember how we swore
We’d never let time slip away

Your smile is barely visible now
Through the creases dusty years
I hold it up to catch the light
But it only magnifies my insides

Pre-Chorus

The ink has blurred, the frame is cracked
And I’m realizing there’s no way to bring you back
The paper’s thin, my grip is weak
But I can’t let go of you, I’m weak

Chorus

Fading photographs
Holding to things that don’t last
Every smile, every laugh
Is history a forgotten past

Fading photographs
Proof that nothing last

Every moment that we had
Dissolving in my hand to ash

Verse 2

I trace your face with trembling hands
Wishing I could understand
How promises of forever slipped away
Even the sunlight returns the next day

I remember when we took this shot
Summer rains, dancing, smiling a lot
You said that film can catch the soul
I think it stole our promised eternal goal

Pre-Chorus

The ink has blurred, the frame is cracked
And I’m realizing there’s no way to bring you back
The paper’s thin, my grip is weak
But I can’t let go of you, I’m weak

Chorus

Fading photographs
Holding to things that don’t last
Every smile, every laugh
Is history a forgotten past

Fading photographs
Proof that nothing last

Every moment that we had
Dissolving in my hand to ash

Bridge

Maybe I should let you go
Put this picture back to rest
But it’s all I have left, to remind me

Once I had the very best

So back in the drawer
With all other fading things
Memories worn down things forgetting
And the silence that loss brings

Final Chorus

Fading photographs
Holding to things that don’t last
Every smile, every laugh
Is history a forgotten past

Fading photographs
Proof that nothing last

Every moment that we had
Dissolving in my hand to ash

Track 3 — Empty Room

Verse 1

The silence here is deafening
I hear my footsteps echo all day
I thought I’d find some peace in place
But the quiet only drowns me out

The walls remember your giggle and laugh
The floor still holds your footsteps flaps
I walk through spaces filled with your smell
There’s no real escape

Pre-Chorus

Every corner holds a memory
Every surface tells your story
But you’re not here to hear me say
I’m sorry

Chorus

In this empty room, I’m haunted by you

Every corner blooms, With a bad choice or two
And though the night is long and dark
I’ll be singing your song
In this empty room
In this empty room

Verse 2

The bed is colder every night
Your side untouched, no ones been there
I reach across feels like time and space
Expecting different but its just empty waste

I left your dishes unwashed in the sink
Your book still marked at your favorite quotations
As if preserving all these things
Could somehow bring you back to me

Pre-Chorus

Every object is a monument
To everything we used to be
I’m living in a museum now
A museum of you and me

Chorus

In this empty room, I’m haunted by you

Every corner blooms, With a bad choice or two
And though the night is long and dark
I’ll be singing your song
In this empty room
In this empty room

Bridge

I should pack your things away
Move forward, but I cant start again
Paralyzed from my heart to my limbs
These rooms still hold you in

The curtains that you chose
The paintings on the wall
Your favorite chair, your coat, your shoes
I can’t let go of it all

Final Chorus

In this empty room, I’m haunted by you

Every corner blooms, With a bad choice or two
And though the night is long and dark
I’ll be singing your song
In this empty room
In this empty room

Outro

In this empty room, if it doesn’t change soon

Maybe Ill make a statement, from me to you
And one long night that’s cold and dark
ill hang my neck in a noose for you,
In this empty room
In this empty room

Track 4 — The Last Letter

(Verse 1)
I wrote your name a thousand times
Each one harder than the last
The ink ran dry, the paper torn thin
But still I can't forget the past, I must keep writing
I tried to find the perfect words
To make you listen and understand
Why I became the evil person
Who destroyed what we planned

(Pre-Chorus)
If words could heal the fights we made
I'd write until they fade away
But language fails where hate shines through
And sorry just is no god damn use
(Chorus)
This is the last letter
I'll send Carried by the wind
Praying you'll forgive me
For all shit ive been
This is my last letter, my friend
But my love won't ever end
No, my love won't ever end

(Verse 2)
Seal the page with trembling hands
Drop it off in the postal box
Hoping you will open and not toss aside
Will read the brokenness I feel inside
I wrote you things I couldn't say
When you were standing right here
About the fears that scared me
And I what I couldn’t let you in

(Pre-Chorus)
If words could build a bridge
I'd write until my hand bleed out
But bridges need both sides to stand
And I don't know if youd try that hard

(Chorus)
This is the last letter
I'll send Carried by the wind
Praying you'll forgive me
For all shit ive been
This is my last letter, my friend
But my love won't ever end
No, my love won't ever end

(Bridge)
Maybe you'll find it years from now
When I'm just a distant name in the ground
Maybe you'll read these words and know
I never was the same
Maybe you'll fold it up again
And put it with the rest of our memories from then

(Verse 3)
I don't expect an answer back
I don't expect a reply
Sometimes goodbye is just one voice say
I love you and goodbye
But I needed you to know that I remember every day
The person that you tried to love before I left you and ran away

(Final Chorus)
This is the last letter
I'll send Carried by the wind
Praying you'll forgive me
For all shit ive been
This is my last letter, my friend
But my love won't ever end
No, my love won't ever end

(Outro) This is the last letter I'll send
But my love won't ever end
No, my love won't ever end
My love won't ever end

Track 5 — Windows & Memories

(Verse 1)
The streetlights flicker in the dark
I watch them from my window pane
Each passing car, each smogged sparked
Whispers gently of your name
I've stood here every night for months
Since you walked out that door
Watching strangers live their lives
While my feet frozen to this floor

(Pre-Chorus)
The glass is cold against my palms
The city hums a cold cash song
I'm searching for your face anywhere
But you’ve just been gone, too long

(Chorus)
Windows and memories
That's all that's left of me
Looking out, looking back
On everything we used to be
Windows and memories
My only company
Staring through the glass
at dreams of what will never be

(Verse 2)
The seasons change,
the years cry bye
I am frozen in this place
Searching the nights for memories of you
In every shadowed alley space
Spring brought blossoms to our willow tree
then Summer burned them away
Fall scattered leaves across mohawk street
And Winter turned them to gray

(Pre-Chorus)
And through it all I've stayed right here
Watching time pass my face in years
Prisoned in this window view
Beneath these endless season skies

(Chorus)
Windows and memories
That's all that's left of me
Looking out, looking back
On everything we used to be
Windows and memories
My only company
Staring through the glass
at dreams of which will never be

(Bridge)
I see reflections in the pane
My face and yours fading
Transparent, overlapped
New shapes life
Gone is what we left behind
Sometimes I'm not sure
if I'm looking out Or staring in
The empty rooms behind me
Or the emptiness inside me

(Verse 3)
New couples walks beneath my window
Holding hands against the cold
I wonder if they talk like us
Having stories that never unfold
Maybe one of them will stand where I stand
Years after their lovers gone
Watching strangers in the street
Trying to move on

(Final Chorus)
Windows and memories
That's all that's left of me
Looking out, looking back
On everything we used to be
Windows and memories
My only company
Staring through the glass
at dreams of which will never be

(Outro)
Windows and memories
Windows and memories
The streetlights flicker
And I'm still here With
windows and memories
Just windows and memories
